Control Active Leaks Before They Become Major Incidents

See Why It Outperforms Traditional Spill and Leak Control Methods

How RuptureSeal® Works

RuptureSeal® uses a patented mechanical compression-locking seal that stops active pressurized fluid leaks in under 20 seconds.

First responders, hazmat teams, operators, and safety professionals deploy RuptureSeal® for its speed and ease of use during fuel, chemical, and marine incidents, such as:

  • Truck saddle tank ruptures and fuel line leaks
  • Forklift punctures and hydraulic fluid leaks
  • Water, fuel, and chemical line bursts
  • Chemical drum failures and IBC tote punctures
  • Food-grade leaks and product transfer losses
  • Oil pipeline leaks and hazardous releases
  • Marine breaches, hull punctures and fluid leaks

In Extreme Temperatures

Rated for 50°C (122°F) to -50°C (-58°F), it's reliable in Arctic weather, offshore conditions, and high-heat environments where early source control is critical.

Compared to Traditional Methods

Engineered to seal active leaks on drums, tanks, totes and pipes made of metal, plastic, fiberglass, and composite materials.

Designed to outperform traditional plugs, epoxy, putty, hazmat foam, and magnetic patches in real-world environments.

Single-use design eliminates cross-contamination risk.

Non-leaching—it preserves product integrity and operational continuity.

Maintains a seal against active pressure—up to 20 PSI—for hours in field conditions.

Clean, non-destructive, and non-sparking—no risk of splintering, chipping, or slipping.

Compatible with 40,000+ chemicals and fuels.

Safety Matters

When reducing exposure and stabilizing spills are priorities in the field, RuptureSeal® is the reliable, tool-free, low-training solution built for rapid incident response.

Post-Incident Recovery

Once the leak is controlled, RuptureSeal® can be removed and safely disposed of. Urethanes and putties may require chiseling or drilling for removal, while magnetic patches require cleaning, inspection, and decontamination prior to reuse.

Simple 3-Step Field Deployment

Supports varying language, reading, and technical skill levels.

1

Step 1

With appropriate PPE, approach the release safely from the side. Outside the direct flow path, position the pin so it is parallel with the nylon tie.

Step 2

Insert the pin into the rupture. Release and drive the plug into the hole, holding it in place to stop the flow.
