Stop Fuel and Chemical Leaks at the Source

Outperforms Dike Putty, Wedges, Foam and Magnetic Seals

Why RuptureSeal® Works

RuptureSeal® provides mechanical source control and stops active pressurized fuel and chemical leaks in under 20 seconds.

First responders choose RuptureSeal® for high-risk industrial fuel and chemical leak control, including:

  • Truck saddle tank ruptures and fuel line leaks
  • Forklift punctures and hydraulic fluid leaks
  • Water, fuel, and chemical line bursts
  • Chemical drum failures and IBC tote punctures
  • Food-grade leaks and product transfer losses
  • Oil pipeline leaks and hazardous releases
  • Marine vessel breaches and fluid spills

Extreme Temperature Capability

Rated for 50°C to -50°C environments, it's reliable in cold weather, offshore, and high-heat industrial environments where rapid spill response is critical.

Outperforms Traditional Fuel and Chemical Leak Control Methods

Faster, lightweight, and easier to deploy than putty, wedges, hazmat foam, and magnetic leak seals.

Works on any surface—one-time use eliminates cross-contamination risk.

Non-leaching material prevents transfer into fluids—preserving product integrity and supporting operational continuity.

Maintains a seal against active pressure—up to 20 PSI—for hours in field conditions.

Clean, non-sparking, and non-destructive—resists vibration with no risk of splintering or chipping.

Compatible with over 40,000 chemicals.

A 400L truck saddle tank puncture can exceed $15,000 per minute in spill response and remediation costs.

Every second matters. When safe to do so, control the source before it spreads.

Industry leading deployment speed

Less than 20 seconds and far faster (and cleaner) than other products. Response time is critical to improve safety, environmental impact and cleanup costs.

Lowest removal cost

After a spill, the leak site must be cleaned and secured. Simply cut away and discard. Urethane plugs and putties must be chiselled out, requiring tools and valuable time to remove.

Performance Matters

When speed and safety matter in the field, RuptureSeal® is the low-training, accessibility-friendly source control solution built for reliable performance in critical situations.

Easy-to-follow instructions

RuptureSeal demo

1

Step 1

With appropriate PPE, approach the leak or rupture safely from the side, outside the flow path. Position the pin so it is parallel with the nylon tie.

2

Step 2

Insert the pin into the rupture. Release and drive the plug into the hole, holding it in place to stop the flow.

Step 3

As you push the plug into the rupture, gently pull the handle. When it is fully extended and the clicking stops, RuptureSeal® is seated and deployed.
